3. Step-by-Step Process – How to Search Company on MCA Portal?
Step 1: Go to MCA Website
First of all go to https://www.mca.gov.in.
Step 2: Open MCA Services Menu
Hover over ‘MCA Services’ in the top menu bar.
Step 3: Click on “Find CIN / LLPIN”
Select ‘Find CIN / LLPIN’ option from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Enter Company Name or CIN
Enter company name (at least 3 letters) or CIN in the form.
Fill Captcha and click on Submit.
You will get the master data of the company on the screen, which contains the following details:
- Company name and CIN
- ROC details
- Company status (Active/Inactive/Struck Off)
- Registered address
- Authorized & Paid-up capital
- Incorporation date
- Directors name
- Basic information of charges and filings
